Dr. Aliya Kemal Ahsan is working as an Assistant Professor of Paediatric Cardiology at the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD), Karachi. She has earned dual Fellowships from the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (FCPS) in Paediatric Medicine and Paediatric Cardiology. In addition, she completed a third fellowship attachment in Paediatric Cardiac Imaging from Malaysia I.J.N

Dr. Aliya is actively involved in diagnostic and baseline cardiac catheterizations, as well as interventional procedures. She is a lifetime member of the Pakistan Cardiac Society (PCS) and the Pakistan Paediatric Association (PPA). She is also a member of Go Red for Women, a global initiative focused on women's heart health. She currently serves as the Medical Chair of Rotary Crown and is the Vice President of AMPAK Women and Child Health Division. Dr. Aliya has contributed to numerous national and international publications, including international research conducted in Malaysia.

She actively participates in scientific meetings as a keynote speaker and presenter, both nationally and internationally. In addition to her academic and clinical contributions, Dr. Aliya has played a vital philanthropic role, with revamping the Paediatric Department at NICVD being one of her signature achievements.
