Social Welfare / zakat

Abiding by our mission, the Social Welfare Department exists to guarantee that no patient leaves NICVD without receiving the treatment that he/she needs regardless of the medical expenses involved. Through our donations and zakat fund, the Social Welfare department provides financial assistance to non-affording patients. In the year 2015-2016, nearly 100,000 of our patients were treated through zakat and donations for various procedures as compared to approximately 50,000 patients in previous years.
