Professor Saeed Ahmed Mahar is presently working as professor of Medicine and Consaltant Endocrinologist and Diabetologist at NICVD. He is a CPSP certified Fellow in Internal Medicine and has also completed a Fellowship in Diabetes, Endocrinology & Metabolism from Aga Khan University, Karachi with a clinical attachment at St Bartholomew's Hospital, UK and was awarded best fellow in Diabetes, Endocrinology & Metabolism. He is also Fellow of American College of Physicians (FACP) and Fellow of American College of Endocrinology (FACE). His clinical interests include diabetes, thyroid, lipid disorders, metabolic bone diseases, obesity & infertility. He is supervisor and Examiner at CPSP and other universities in Pakistan. He has more than 20 published articles on his credit, in various medical journals. Currently, he is President of Pakistan Endocrine Society (2015-16) and General Secretary of American Association of Clinical Endocrinologist (Pakistan Chapter).
