Dr. Mahesh Kumar Batra, serves as an Associate Professor of Cardiology—a well-qualified and extensively trained interventional cardiologist.
Following the attainment of his FCPS in Adult Cardiology in August 2015 from CPSP, he pursued further training in the realm of Interventional Cardiology at the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD), Karachi, Pakistan, in 2017. DR. Batra was then appointed as an Assistant professor of cardiology. He is an esteemed member of the American College of Cardiology (ACC), and plays an active role within the Pakistan Cardiac Society (PCS) and the Pakistan Society of Interventional Cardiology (PSIC). Notably, he also achieved success in obtaining a second FCPS in interventional cardiology in 2023.
Dr. Mahesh excels as an educator, consistently displaying a strong aptitude for teaching medical students, junior doctors, and postgraduate students. His enthusiasm extends to his active involvement in Continuing Medical Education (CME) activities, his moderation of scientific sessions, and his engaging oral and poster presentations at numerous national and international conferences. Furthermore, he boasts a substantial body of research work, with more than 20 publications to his credit in both national and international journals.
