The goal of the library at NICVD is to support the hospital’s mission of furthering research and education by providing our medical staff with the evidence-based research and current information on which to base their diagnosis and/or treatments for patient care, research projects, publication of articles, continuing medical education and overall quality improvement.

The library maintains a collection of 2000 books related to Adult Cardiology, Peadiatric Cardiology, Cardiac Surgery, Cardiac Anesthesia and Nursing.  We also provide access to 14 print and electronic research journals as well as CDs for practical studies. The library is open to students and medical staff and provides access to computers, printing and photocopy.
