Professor Nadeem Qamar.

Prof. Nadeem Qamar has had a 20 year long and enduring journey with National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases, Karachi. Earning an MBBS degree from Liaquat Medical College, Jamshoro, Prof. Nadeem Qamar went abroad to complete his residency in Internal Medicine from Franklin Square Hospital, USA and received his fellowships in Cardiology and Angioplasty from McGill University  Canada and Ottawa Heart Institute Canada respectively. He has trained countless cardiology fellows specializing in Interventional Cardiology and Catheterization Laboratory Techniques, has authored many research papers and is a lifetime member of Pakistan Cardiac Society and Pakistan Hypertension League. Prof. Qamar currently is leading the team as Executive Director of National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases, Karachi.

Prof. Arif-ur-Rehman

Prof. Arif-ur-Rehman Khan’s 36 years long and enduring journey with National Institute of Cardiovascular Disease is incredible and praiseworthy. He is an MBBS and MS and has specialized in the field of Cardiac Surgery. He is currently serving as Professor of Cardiac Surgery at NICVD. Prof. Arif has authored more than 60 research articles. He has supervised postgraduate training of more than 35 students of FCPS and MS programs in Cardiac Surgery. He has convened many national and international conferences/workshops and other CME activities. Prof. Arif has served as the President of Pakistan Society of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgeons and is a member of Faculty of Cardiac Surgery, CPSP. He has also been a member of editorial board and peer review committees of more than 6 PMDC approved journals and Editor in Chief, Pakistan Journal of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgeons. He has served as the Project Director, Mega Project, Ministry of Planning and Development, Government of Pakistan. Presently he is performing role of Chairman of Academic Council of NICVD, as well.

Prof. Asal Khan Tareen

Prof. Asal Khan Tareen did his MSc. from the University of Balochistan, Quetta and later he proceeded to complete his M.Phil. from Basic Medical Sciences Institute (BMSI), Jinnah Post-graduate Medical Centre (JPMC), and his PhD from University of Karachi. He is currently Professor and Head of Biochemistry and Pathology Laboratory at NICVD which provides 24 hours services to the institute. He joined NICVD in 1990. He has authored 23 scientific papers, which have been presented and published in national and international meetings. He is currently member of Pakistan Hypertension League, Chemical Society of Pakistan and Pakistan Cardiac Society. Throughout the course of his career, he has acquired several years’ experience of teaching post-graduate and research PhD students in various institutions.

Prof. Muhammad Zia Yaqub

Prof. Muhammad Zia Yaqub is presently one of the top cardiologists in the country, with the specialization in Interventional Cardiology. After finishing his residency and fellowship from USA, he joined NICVD with an ambition to provide finest medical care to under-privileged population in Pakistan and has completed 24 years with us since then. Aside from his academic achievements, Prof. Zia Yaqub has authored 23 publications in various disciplines of cardiology. He has supervised several PhD and research students till date.

Prof. Syed Ishtiaq Rasool

Prof. Syed Ishtiaq Rasool is a professionally qualified clinical and interventional cardiologist with over 25 years of experience at NICVD, Karachi and Cardiology Research Center (CRC), Moscow. He obtained his PhD in Cardiology and Certification in Interventional Cardiology in 1994 and later he joined NICVD in 1996 as a Certified Invasive Cardiologist. Since then he has played a significant role at NICVD in establishing a coronary angioplasty and valvuloplasty programme. He has also trained several interventional cardiology fellows at NICVD. He has facilitated data collection at NICVD in several studies. He has also acted as coordinator for 2 large multicentre trials, the “INTER HEART” and “Create GIK” studies conducted by Mac Master University, Onterio Canada. Inrecognition of his contribution in cardiology, he was awarded Fellowship of Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (SCAI) and Fellowship of American College of Cardiology (FACC). He has organized several successful interventional workshops of “CARDIO Live”. He has so far attended many national and international workshops and symposia and he has authored over 30 scientific papers.

Prof. Syed Nadeem Hassan Rizvi

Dr. Nadeem Hassan Rizvi, MBBS, Dip Card (LON), MRCP(UK), FRCPE, FACC, FSCAI, joined NICVD in 2000 and is presently working as Professor of Interventional Cardiology, Director of Interventional Program & Cath Labs, and Director for NICVD Rehabilitation Program & Satellites Centres. Dr Rizvi has a special interest in complex coronary interventions. He has performed more than 10,000 cardiac interventional procedures. He is also one of the first certified implanter for TAVI in Pakistan. Dr. Rizvi also has a board eligible certification in Cardiac CT Angiography from John Hopkins University Hospital, USA, and is a founding member of British Society of Echocardiography and Pakistan Society of Interventional Cardiology and a member of Pakistan Cardiac Society. He has been the editor of Pakistan Heart Journal’s Interventional Cardiology section since 2012. Dr Rizvi remains actively involved in post graduate education in Cardiology and is Faculty member of Cardiology as well as an examiner at CPSP. He continues to write and present extensively at local, national and international forums as an expert in Cardiology.

Prof. Fazle Rabbi

Prof. Fazle Rabbi is one of the best Cardiac surgeons in Pakistan. After completing his MBBS from DOW Medical College, Karachi, he obtained his higher education from UK and gained experience there in medical and cardiac surgical fields for 13 years. He acquired his MRCP from the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland and FRCS from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. He joined NICVD in 1996. Besides surgery for Coronary Heart Disease (CABG), his other interests include heart valve repairs and corrective surgery of congenital heart diseases.

Professor Syed Zahid Jamal

Prof. Syed Zahid Jamal has been an integral part of the NICVD team since 2001. He is a certified Diplomate of American Board of Internal Medicine and American Board of Cardiology from New York and Boston respectively. He further proceeded to receive his Fellowship in Electrophysiology from Harvard University, USA. Apart from being the Director of Medical Education and Electrophysiology & Pacing Departments at NICVD, Prof. Zahid is also the person responsible for establishing the Electrophysiology Department in 2002, performing the first implantable defibrillator procedure (2002) and implanting the first heart failure device at NICVD (2004). He is a founding member of the Pakistan Heart Association which is an academic organization involved in conducting workshops/symposiums based on the latest updates in the field of cardiology.

Prof. Najma Patel

Prof. Najma Patel is a remarkable cardiologist who specializes in the field of Paediatric Cardiology. After completing her MBBS, she received her fellowship (FCPS) from CPSP. She is also fellow of Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (FSCAI), which is a mark of her excellence among interventional cardiologists and also fellow of American College of Cardiology. Her exceptional journey with NICVD dates back to 1994 when she joined this institution as a fellow and is now serving as Head of Paediatric Cardiology. She also has specialized in adult congenital heart diseases, congenital and structural heart defects intervention. She has performed more than 1200 percutaneous interventions including complex procedures. She is currently serving as Convenor of the committee member of College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (Equivalent to Dean of Faculty) and also as a supervisor of FCPS Paediatric Cardiology.

PROF. MOHAMMAD SAEED TALPUR

Prof. Muhammad Saeed Talpur is a 1983 medical graduate from Liaquat Medical University, Jamshoro. He completed his M.Phil in Haematology and Pathology from Postgraduate Medical Institute (PGMI) of Punjab University in 1990. He joined NICVD in 1994 after serving 11 years in Sindh Government Health Department. He is an active teaching faculty at NICVD and an honorary faculty member of Dow University of Health Sciences. He has authored 12 research papers published in national and international journals. He is also a life member of Pakistan Society of Haematology (PSH) and Pakistan Association of Pathologists (PAP).

PROF. SAEED AHMED MAHAR

Dr. Saeed Ahmed Mahar is presently working as professor of Medicine and Consaltant Endocrinologist and Diabetologist at NICVD. He is a CPSP certified Fellow in Internal Medicine and has also completed a Fellowship in Diabetes, Endocrinology & Metabolism from Aga Khan University, Karachi with a clinical attachment at St Bartholomew’s Hospital, UK and was awarded best fellow in Diabetes, Endocrinology & Metabolism. He is also Fellow of American College of Physicians (FACP) and Fellow of American College of Endocrinology (FACE). His clinical interests include diabetes, thyroid, lipid disorders, metabolic bone diseases, obesity & infertility. He is supervisor and Examiner at CPSP and other universities in Pakistan. He has more than 20 published articles on his credit, in various medical journals. Currently, he is President of Pakistan Endocrine Society (2015-16) and General Secretary of American Association of Clinical Endocrinologist (Pakistan Chapter).

Dr. Tariq Ashraf

Dr. Tariq Ashraf has been an integral part of the NICVD team since 1989. He is a Fellow of the College of Physicians and Surgeons (FCPS) in Cardiology, Fellow of the American College of Cardiologists (FACC), and Fellow of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (FSCAI). Dr. Tariq is also currently affiliated with the National Medical Center, Karachi.
Over the passage of his long and monumental career, he has trained several Fellows of College of Physicians and Surgeons and authored 30 Research paper which are published in National and International Journals. He specializes in the field of Interventional Cardiology with special interest in Peripheral Interventions.

Dr. Amin Muhammad Khuwaja

Dr. Amin Muhammad Khuwaja is Head of Department of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care at NICVD. Apart from his MBBS from Liaquat University of Medical Sciences, he also has completed MCPS and FCPS from College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan. His wide and admirable portfolio includes working as a Registrar in Anaesthesia in Meath Hospital Dublin Ireland, Senior House Officer at Regional General Hospital Limrick Ireland and Glushtershire Royal Hospital Glouster UK. He also served as Clinical Observer in Guys Hospital London UK. He is General Secretary of Pakistan Association of Cardiothoracic Anaesthesiologist, Vice President of Pakistan Society of Anaesthesiologist Karachi and Member Executive Committee of Pakistan Society Critical Care Medicine. He is also engaged as an Instructor of BLS / ACLS at American Heart Association. He has published 10 original research papers in PMDC and HEC recognized journals and is involved in fellowship training of future anaesthesiologists.

Dr. Abdul Samad Achakzai

Dr. Abdul Samad Achakzai is a Fellow of College of Physicians and Surgeons (FCPS) in Cardiology with specialization in Adult Cardiology. He joined NICVD in 2003 with the passion to serve the underprivileged population of Pakistan and has been sincerely working to achieve this goal. He is currently acting as Associate Professor Adult Cardiology. He is examiner for FCPS Cardiology at College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan. He has published 12 research papers in renowned journals.

Dr. Muhammad Musharaf

Dr. Muhammad Musharaf joint NICVD in 1987 and did Fellowship in Cardiac Surgery (FCPS). He started minimally invasive open heart surgery in 1996, which was his topic for dissertation in fellowship. He has performed innumerable open and close heart surgeries with his special interest are in coronary artery bypass surgeries and corrective congenital surgeries. He has 15 publications in national and international journals. Currently, he is serving as an Associate Professor of Cardiac Surgery at NICVD.

Dr. Nadeem Ahmed

Dr. Nadeem Ahmed is an Associate Professor Adult Cardiac Surgery at National Institute of Cardiovascular Disease and has been working with this institution since 1985. He is an MBBS and MS with specialization in the field of Cardiac Surgery. He is an active member of Pakistan Society of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgeons (PSCTS) and also serves as an Editor at Pakistan Journal of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgeons (PJCTS).

Dr. Sohail Khan Bangash

Dr. Sohail Bangash is one of the country’s renowned Paediatric Cardiac Surgen with specialization in Paediatric Cardiac Surgery. Apart from his MBBS, he collected his Fellowship (FCPS) from the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan in Cardiac Surgery. The beginning of his elemental journey at National Institute of Cardiovascular Disease dates back to 1987. He is responsible for laying the foundation of Paediatric Cardiac Surgery Department at NICVD and is currently serving as the Incharge of the Department. Aside from this, he is also an active member of Pakistan Society of Cardiothoracic Surgeons, Society of Thoracic Surgeons USA and Pakistan Society of Paediatric Cardiology.

Dr. Jawaid Akbar Sial

Dr. Jawaid Akbar Sial has collected his Fellowship of the College of Physicians and Surgeons (FCPS) in Cardiology, Fellowship of the American College of Cardiologists (FACC), and Fellowship of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (FSCAI) along with his MBBS. He specializes in the field of Interventional cardiology.

Dr. Muhammad Anis Memon

Dr. Muhammad Anis Memon boarded the NICVD’s team in 1988 as a Senior Resident Medical officer and presently serves as an Associate Professor of Cardiology. His impressive academic portfolio includes Diploma in Cardiology and MD in Cardiology. He has been actively involved in teaching and giving lectures and teaches diagnostic procedure to Medical student, Nurses, House Officers and Trainee Resident Medical Officer. He has also acquired experience in organizing medical conferences and presently serves as a Supervisor for FCPS trainees. He has drafted 13 research papers which have been published in various national journals.

Dr. Tahir Saghir

Dr. Tahir Saghir has earned Fellowship of the College of Physicians and Surgeons (FCPS) in Cardiology and Fellowship of Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (FSCAI). He commenced his journey with NICVD in 2003 with the focus of his interest in Clinical and Interventional Cardiology. He is one of the two Certified Interventional Cardiologists for Aortic Valve Implant (TAVI). He is currently acting as Director of Clinical Research Department and Associate Director of Cardiac Cath and Intervention Department. The Clinical Research Department has conducted several successful researches under his leadership.

Dr. Muhammad Asad Bilal Awan

Dr. Muhammad Asad Bilal Awan is an acclaimed Cardiac Surgeon in the country. After completing his MBBS, he earned the Fellowship of College of Physicians and Surgeons in General Surgery and Cardiac Surgery. He boarded the team of National Institute of Cardiovascular Disease in 2009 and is currently serving as an Assistant Professor Cardiac Surgery. He has authored 12 Research papers on Cardiac Surgery and presented his paper at the International Conference of World Society Cardiothoracic Surgery in 2008.

Dr. Fawad Farooq

Dr. Fawad Farooq is an exceptional Cardiologist working at National Institute of Cardiovascular Disease since 2009. He has earned Fellowship of College of Physicians and Surgeons (FCPS) in Cardiology. He has specialized in the field of Interventional Cardiology. He has also specialized in the field of Interventional Cardiology. He actively participates as speaker and moderator in national scientific meetings and has facilitated multiple Continuing Medical Education (CME) workshops. He is presently co-ordinator of Pakistan Cardiac Society Karachi Chapter as well.

Dr. Parveen Akhtar

Dr. Parveen Akhtar graduated from Dow Medical College, Karachi. She then completed her Fellowship of College of Physicians and Surgeons (FCPS) in Medicine and Cardiology. She is also a Diplomate Comprehensive Echocardiography, Diplomate Advanced Preoperative TEE and Diplomate Cardiac CT. She is currently an active member of Pakistan Cardiac Society and Cardiology Teaching Resource Committee at NICVD. She has authored 7 Research papers. She actively participates in almost all undergraduate & postgraduate teaching activities of cardiology department, medical college and the hospital. She was awarded the Young Clinician Award at the conference held at Shifa International Hospital Islamabad on December 2006.

Dr. Suhayb Ahmed Khushk

Dr. Suhayb Ahmed Khushk has been working with National Institute of Cardiovascular Disease for around 10 years now. He has earned his fellowship of College of Physicians and Surgeon in General Surgery as well as Cardiac Surgery. He is also currently acting as an Invigilator, Supervisor, and Examiner for College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan.

Dr. Faisal Qadir

Dr. Faisal Qadir earned his medical degree from The Baqai Medical College, Karachi. He holds certifications in Internal Medicine as well as FCPS Cardiology from College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan. He joined National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases in 2010 and has the distinction of being trained as the first fellow in Cardiac Electrophysiology in Pakistan. He later underwent advanced training in electrophysiology at National Heart Institute, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He is a Certified Cardiac Device Specialist (CCDS) as well as Certified Electrophysiology Specialist (CEPS-AC) from I.B.H.R.E., USA and is Fellow of the Heart Rhythm Society (FHRS), USA. His special interest is in management of patients with syncope (fainting).

Dr. Naveed Ullah Khan

Dr. Naveed Ullah Khan boarded the NICVD team in 2004 as a postgraduate fellow and since then he has served this institution with exceptional proficiency. Apart from his MBBS, he received his FCPS in Cardiology and MCPS in Medicine from the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan. Furthermore, Dr. Naveed Ullah Khan has received advanced training in Interventional Cardiology for 18 months from Institute Jantung Negara (National Heart Institute) Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He regularly performs complex coronary and peripheral arterial interventions. He also performs Structural Heart Diseases Intervention including TAVI, coarctation of aorta, PTMC and device closures.

DR. SAAD BADAR ZAKAI

Dr. Saad Badar Zakai is an MRCS and FCPS in General Surgery and FCPS in Cardiac Surgery. He is an exceptional cardiac surgeon. Dr. Saad joined National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases in the year 2016 as an Assistant Professor in Paediatric Cardiac Surgery Department. He is involved in several research papers and academic teachings. He is also an active member of Pakistan Society of Paediatric Cardiology.

DR. GHAZALA IRFAN

Dr. Ghazala Irfan, is an Assistant Professor and Cardiac Electrophysiologist at NICVD. She has joined NICVD in January 2016 and since then she has participates actively in all academic, clinical and research activities. She is the only cardiologist in Pakistan who has received EHRA grant for fellowship in Clinic Cardiac Electrophysiology and Pacing and first female Electrophysiologist in a community of 10-12 Electrophysiologist in Pakistan. She is an active member of European Society of Cardiology, European Heart Rhythm association, Women in EP and Young Electrophysiologist Society. She has done her FCPS in Cardiology and later on 2 year Fellowship in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology and Pacing from Virjie University Hospital, Brussels, Belgium. She has co authored 30 original research articles including articles as first author in International peer reviewed journals. DR. ABDUL SATTAR SHAIKH

Dr Abdul Sattar Shaikh working as an Assistant Professor in Paediatric Cardiology with special interest in paediatric and adult congenital heart disease and intervention. After doing his MCPS and FCPS in Paediatrics Medicine and FCPS in Paediatric Cardiology, he did his Fellowship in Paediatric and Adult Congenital Heart Diseases & Interventional Cardiology from IJN National Heart Institute Malaysia in 2015 and Post-Fellowship in Paediatric Interventional Cardiology in 2014 from NICVD Karachi. He is also member of Malaysian Medical Council, National Heart Institute of Malaysia (NHAM), Paediatric Cardiology Society Malaysia, Malaysia Medical Association, Pakistan Society of Cardiology and Pakistan Society of interventional Cardiology. He has authored more than 25 publications and also involved in welfare activities of KONPAL Child Protective Society and ULPHAT Foundation.

DR. HUMAIRA ASHRAF

Dr. Humaira Ashraf is a 2004’s graduate from Nishtar Medical College, Multan and has completed her FCPS in Chemical Pathology. Currently, she is serving as Assistant Professor of Pathology at NICVD Karachi for last one year. Moreover, she also had been extensively involved in teaching undergraduate and post graduate students. She has facilitated a number of pathology workshops and seminars. As well as presented a paper in pathology update at CPSP Karachi in year 2011.

DR. AFTAB AHMED KHATRI

Dr. Aftab Ahmed Khatri is working as an Assistant Professor of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care at NICVD. Dr. Aftab has done FCPS in Anaesthesiology from College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan and has completed his fellowship in Cardiothoracic Anaesthesia from Aga Khan University Hospital Karachi. He has served in different medical institutes of as a Specialist Cardiac Anaesthetist and in March 2016, joined NICVD as an Assistant Professor Anaesthesia and Intensive Care. He has been involved in clinical and research work and training of undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Dr. Shahid Ahmed

Dr. Shahid Ahmed became the part of National Institute of Cardiovascular Disease in 1988. Apart from his MBBS, he holds a Diploma in Cardiology and Fellowship of College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan in Cardiology. He has incessantly devoted the past 27 years of his career to NICVD. He has been involved in academic teachings and research work as well.

Dr. Syed Muhammad Afaque

Dr. Syed Muhammad Afaque is an MBBS, Diplomate in Cardiology, and Fellow of College of Physicians and Surgeons in Cardiology. He has also competed his 2 years fellowship training in Interventional Cardiology at NICVD. He shares 28 years long journey with National Institute of Cardiovascular Disease as he joined the institution back in 1989. Apart from his association with NICVD, he is presently an active member of Pakistan Hypertension League and Pakistan Cardiac Society.

Dr. Kanwal Fatima Aamir

Dr. Kanwal Fatima Aamir is one of the finest Cardiologists in the country and specializes in the field of Interventional Cardiology. She has been working with NICVD for over a decade. She currently holds MCPS and FCPS from College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan in Cardiology apart from her MBBS. She had the honour of achieving the Best Paper Award in the 17th Biennial Congress of Pakistan Cardiac Society. She has authored several papers which have been published in national journals. She has also served as an organizer and host for Pakistan Cardiac Society meetings.

Dr. Khalid Naseeb

Dr. Khalid Naseeb is an MBBS and has also collected his Fellowship of the College of Physicians and Surgeons (FCPS) in Cardiology. He specializes in the field of Interventional Cardiology and has earned a fellowship in the particular field as well.

Dr. AZIZ UR REHMAN

Dr. Aziz ur Rehman Memon is a Fellow of College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan in cardiology. Since 2003, he has been serving National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases. He gathered his initial clinical experience as a trainee RMO at NICVD. Later he worked as a resident of cardiology and clinical fellow in emergency department. Furthermore, he also has an extensive experiene in diabetes and endocrine. Currently he is serving as Senior Registrar, Critical Care Unit at NICVD.

Dr. SYED TAIMUR ASIF ALI

Dr. Syed Taimur Asif Ali is an FCPS qualified Cardiac Surgeon and accredited for Cardiac and Thoracic Surgery. He qualified his MBBS from the University of Karachi and after his 1-year of House Job completed his core General Surgery from Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center. He undertook training in Cardiothoracic Surgery from Aga Khan University Hospital. He joined NICVD in 2015 and is actively involved in clinical and surgical practice and academic teaching of undergraduates and postgraduates. He is also a keen researcher having 8 articles published.

Dr. Ahmad Salman Khan Ghauri

Dr. Ahmad Salman Khan Ghauri joined the NICVD team in 1988 and has been serving the organization with devotion and proficiency since then.  In addition to his MBBS, he has also earned a diploma in Cardiology. He has been an Instructor at American Heart Association (AMA) for Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). His exceptional Memberships include Pakistan Islamic Medical Association (PIMA) and Cardiac Society’s Membership.

Dr. Roohi Ilyas

Dr. Roohi Ilyas has been a part of the NICVD team for more than 25 years and currently serves at the Prof. Kashmirs’ Memorial Professional Skills Development Centre NICVD. Apart from her MBBS she also earned a Diploma in Cardiology as well as MSc. in Com. Nutrition.

Some of her associations involve being the Co. Director Medical Education at NIVCD and Instructor at American Heart Association for CPR and ECC. She is also the co. author of widely acclaimed paper “Retention of knowledge and Skills of Basic Life Support among Health Care Providers trained in Tertiary Care Hospital” published in Pakistan Heart Journal.  She was awarded the Excellence in Performance Award in 2015 for her impressive achievements.

Dr. Zair Hussain

Dr. Zair Hussain is an exceptional cardiologist and became the part of National Institute of Cardiovascular Disease in 1989. He joined NICVD 27 years ago with the aspiration to serve the impoverished. He is a Diplomate in Cardiology and an MBBS. Dr. Habiba Tasneem

Dr. Habiba Tasneem has a diploma in Cardiology besides her MBBS. She has been proudly the part of National Institute of Cardiovascular Disease for 30 years now. She specializes in the field of Echocardiography and serves as an Associate Physician at Echo department.

Dr. Syed Abdul Hafeez

Dr. Syed Abdul Hafeez is an MBBS and a Diplomate in Cardiology. He joined National Institute of Cardiovascular Disease in 1988. He has been serving with the best of his competencies for the past 27 years. Currently, he is an active member of Pakistan Islamic Medical Association PIMA and Cardiac Society.

Dr. Muhammad Irfan Siddiqui

Dr. Muhammad Irfan Siddiqui has dedicated himself exclusively for National Institute of Cardiovascular Disease since 1988. He specializes in the field of Cardiothoracic Anesthesia. The extraordinary 27 years of his journey in NIVCD is a display of his devotion to this institution. He has successfully handled several Cath and Paediatric Cath cases throughout his career.

Dr. Rasool Baksh

Dr. Rasool Baksh is an Associate Cardiac Surgeon and is among the best in his field. He has been working in the field of Cardiology since 2003 along with 10 years of remarkable experience in Cardiac Surgery. He began his journey with National Institute of Cardiovascular Disease in 1988 and have been serving NICVD incessantly since then.

Dr. Malik Hameedullah Khan

Dr. Malik Hameedullah Khan has served National Institute of Cardiovascular Disease with his impeccable abilities for more than 20 years now. He joined NICVD in 1991 and since then he has not shown any lack of dedication and commitment towards this institution. Besides his MBBS, he is also a Diplomate in Cardiology.
